In 2009 the Fermanagh Seaplane Festival had the luxury of using the 'Share' Centre in Lisnaskea's hospitality to hold the first event, but after careful consideration relating to the road network, actual site size, and the landing area for the Seaplanes the organisers had to sadly explore other options.

With it also being the 70th Anniversary of the Catalina and Sunderland Aircraft in Fermanagh, how could be not try and secure one of their original bases.
